Uganda Civil Aviation Authority Acquires Buses from Kiira Motors
The main operator of Entebbe Airport, Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) has acquired four Kayoola E-Coaches and one Kayoola EVS from Kiira Motors Corporation, becoming the first institution in Uganda and across Africa to operate a fully electric fleet manufactured on the continent.
The Kayoola E-Coach recently proved its reliability during the 13,000km “Pearl to the Cape” expedition, positioning Uganda at the forefront of Africa’s clean mobility transition.
This milestone reflects Uganda’s growing industrial strength and sends a clear signal: the country is confidently shaping the future of sustainable transport. These coaches were mainly secured to offer transport services to the staff members of UCAA to and from the EBB Airport on a daily basis.
