Emirates, Fly Dubai & Qatar Suspend Flights to Entebbe Airport
The start of war between Iran & Israel/USA saw all the airspace in the Middle East closed. This resulted after the attack made by USA & Israel towards the Islamic Republic of Iran. The attack let to the killing of their supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei and other top Iranian officials.
Iranian fighters responded by targeting all the United States of America military bases in the Middle East with ballistic missiles. Prominent affected Arab countries include Dubai, Bahrain, Oman, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kuwait, Jordan, Qatar and more.
This has not only caused a serious damage to the infrastructure, peace and lives of people but also deeply affected the air transport system in the Middle East region.No one ever imagined that the busiest Airport in the World could shutdown in just minutes and this is the Dubai International Airport.
Several Airports in the various countries shutdown and airline companies decided to suspend all flights to various parts of the world. This is decided mainly to protect the passenger aircrafts from the ballistic missiles.
Currently, no any flight operations at the renowned Dubai International Airport. Flights for companies like Emirates, Fly Dubai, Air Arabia, Qatar Airways and more are all canceled. These airlines operate daily and weekly flights to Entebbe Airport in Uganda. Right now, no person is able to get from the Middle East to other parts of the world. This war is majorly affecting trade, tourism, forex markets and more.
