Bar Aviation, Domestic Flights in Uganda

With the need to improve air travel, the government of Uganda through UCAA approved another aviation company. It is known as Bar aviation. This airline agency has over 17 aircraft and it will offer scheduled domestic flights to various parts of the country.

It is expected to start its services on February 1st, 2022. These flights will start from Kajjansi airfield to places like Kasese, Kisoro, Kihihi, Arua, Pakwachi, Pakuba, Mweya, and Bugungu. This is just for the start. The list will include more destinations as time goes on.

Speaking to the media, Anthony Njoroge, the country manager said that their main aim is to provide air services for those who hate ground transport like travel by car. It is now easier to get from central Uganda to the western or any other region in just minutes. For tourists who hate long-distance drives, flights by Bar aviation are now the best answer.

One day gorilla trekking in Bwindi or Mgahinga is now a possible adventure in Uganda. With this, you need to arrange a private charter flight such that you get there in time for the trekking excursion. Once done, you fly back to Entebbe for a night stay.
