For a local experience this s the best. It is cheap and quick. At every corner in the town you find a Boda Boda rider. Don’t forget to put on a helmet and guide him the speed you prefer. Gaggles or sun glasses are also important for your eyes. The only problem with this option is sunshine and rainfall in case it rains. Don’t expect to enjoy the A/C.

Ferry at Nakiwogo

For those heading from Entebbe to Masaka, Mbarara, or Kisoro, there is an option to use a ferry from Nakiwogo up to Buwaya in Mpigi district. From Buwaya, you join the main Kampala – Masaka highway and drive further to the next destination. The ferry offers scheduled trips. it may not be reliable if you are on time or be sure to reach the starting point in time.
