Kajjansi Airfield

Besides EBB Airport, Kajjansi Airfield is another notable aviation facility in Uganda. It distinguishes itself with one unpaved runway which is 1150 meters long. It is situated in the southern portion of Kampala in Kajjansi, a town that is a few kilometers from Entebbe.

This property is owned and operated by Mission Aviation Fellowship. It is used for flight training lessons, operations base for various companies like Kampala Aero club, Bar aviation, Pangea aviation academy, and more.

Companies like Bar aviation start scheduled flights from this point to places like Arua, Mbarara, Kisoro, Soroti and more. It is about 25km from Kampala city center to this Airstrip and 26km from Entebbe.

You can use public means like a taxi or Boda Boda to get here. If not, you can hire a private car and enjoy a ride in comfort. There are no international flights from this aerodrome. It is only for domestic trips.
